We went on a guided walk at Badbury Rings in Dorset in July 2014. The knowledgeable guides found us a good haul, even though the conditions were not favourable. | ||

Badbury Rings are the remains of a hill fort built around 2000-2500 years ago, on a site continuously occupied for 6000 years. It was also the site of a Roman crossroads, and a nearby Roman temple was in use til the end of the Roman era in 400AD. | ||
