We took a short cruise Easter '09 to Northern Spain and France, for a quick burst of sun and culture. We were on a ship we had not used before - the P&O "Oceana" - and we were very lucky with the weather. Paul has come back with a tan to start the summer with, and of course some extra weight! As it was the Easter holiday, the ship was full, with many families and the dreadful consequence - kids! Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our selves. Hope the pictures below will show why.

Our itinerary was La Coruna and Bilbao in Spain, then Le Verdun at the mouth of the Gironde 60 miles from Bordeaux. Next we went to Brest in Brittany, and finally St Peter Port in Guernsey.
Our cabin is shown below. We liked having a balcony, but the cabins were more cramped than on some ships.
